Celebrating 10 Years of Innovation and Environmental Stewardship: PondHawk® and The Federal Club
On June 26, 2024, PondHawk® by LINNE Industries marked a remarkable milestone with The Federal Club, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the first PondHawk installation. This event, held at the clubhouse overlooking the scenic #9 green and pond, was a heartfelt thank you to Anne Gail Jennings, Managing Partner of The Federal Club, Ryan Holbrook, Golf Course Superintendent, and their dedicated team.
The celebration began at 11 AM with a beautifully designed cake honoring The Federal Club’s commitment to environmental sustainability and innovative water management. Attendees enjoyed exclusive PondHawk swag and participated in a raffle, with one lucky staff member, Rosa from the greens maintenance team, winning a Bose BT Speaker as a token of appreciation.
Anne Gail shared her thoughts about what this meant to The Federal Club and her team. Sandra Burton and Craig Burton shared their thoughts on what this has meant to them and their company and a little about the challenges and solutions that were successfully implemented.

Since its installation in 2014, PondHawk® has played a crucial role in maintaining the water quality on golf courses across North America. The system enhances dissolved oxygen levels, improves circulation and degassing, and reduces odors—all without ongoing electric power costs—demonstrating the power of sustainable technology in the golf industry.
The Federal Club’s commitment to environmental stewardship was highlighted throughout the event. Over the past decade, the club has implemented numerous green initiatives, from reducing water usage to promoting wildlife habitats, underscoring their dedication to preserving the environment and fostering community responsibility.
This project was the first of many that focused on environmental sustainability and pond management, with golf courses nationwide, government facilities, engineering projects, stormwater projects, and more. PondHawk was featured in the Golf Sustainability Showcase in Phoenix earlier this year. The Golf’s Sustainability Showcase was an interactive area created by GCBAA, GCSAA, USGA, and ASGCA to highlight golf’s environmental stewardship efforts. We were honored to be recognized as the go-to solution for solar-powered aeration in the golf course industry.
