The Newark, Delaware neighborhood is located in New Castle Country, near the Maryland and Pennsylvania borders. The 30+ year old pond on the property suffered from a variety of toxic issues. It displayed algae blooms, had red-tide like odors and showed little evidence of life.
LINNE Industries installed the PondHawk in April 2014. The pond is approximately 0.15 acres (120′ x 54′) and 6 feet deep. The PondHawk is located about 25 feet from the pond edge and has 50 feet of airline with a single diffuser in the center of the pond. The PondHawk is oriented due south.
Since installing the PondHawk, the pond is algae-free and hosts fish, frogs, turtles and a blue heron!
