As part of its sustainability initiatives, The Retreat at Blacksburg—Blacksburg, VA uses two PondHawk® systems to tend its stormwater ponds.
Even on rainy days, this modern solar-pond-aeration system is working.
By adding bubbles to the water, the PondHawk precipitates out the nitrogen and phosphorus to keep the water healthy. Another environmentally friendly initiatives used by the facility were Gotcha Bikes, which we saw on our recent visit.
