River Oaks installs PondHawk – LINNE Industries Visits Site

River Oaks Country Club is located in the River Oaks neighborhood of Houston, Texas. The community spans 1,100 acres and is bounded on the north by Buffalo Bayou. Established in the 1920s by brothers William and Michael Hogg, the community became a well-publicized national model for community planning. The golf course was originally designed by architect Donald Ross but most recently was renovated with Tom Fazio.

River Oaks was the venue for the Western Open golf tournament in 1940. In 2006, the Western Open (now the BMW Championship), was the third oldest active PGA Tour tournament, after the British Open and U.S. Open. River Oaks Country Club was the first host of the Houston Open in 1946 (a regular to this day on the PGA tour).

The PondHawk is tending the pond that is between the club house and the Buffalo Bayou in the center of the course. The PondHawk XL is on the northwesterly side and has a dual diffuser system in a single platform. Installed in September 2015, LINNE Industries, LLC visits the PondHawk location at River Oaks in April 2016.
